InstantConference Launches User Managed Conferencing
TMCnet Contributing Editor
InstantConference, the dedicated on-demand conference service, announced today the launch of a new enterprise service that meets the demand for company-wide, efficient, low-cost, user-managed conferencing. The service features low-cost monthly plans starting at $25/month and toll free rates as low as 3.5 cents per minute, and can be set up and managed in a few minutes with an easy-to-use, online administrator account.
“InstantConference Enterprise was developed with feedback from executives in small businesses and divisions of larger companies who were looking for a simple and centrally managed service at highly competitive prices,” says Alex Cory, CEO of parent company Global Conference Partners. “We have launched a service that offers a comprehensive suite of user-managed conferencing tools within a company organized platform.”
The solution offers centrally-managed conferencing services with a high-value mix of free and premium features. Company administrators can easily sign up and manage accounts by division and employee, using centrally-managed online billing and review, plus creation, and deletion of employee accounts. Employees are automatically provided with their own user-managed accounts, which include free conferencing, free recording and storage, large scale conferences, and very low cost toll free conferencing. SharePlus also lets users share any application or presentation on their desktop safely and securely via a Web browser.
Conference calls can be placed in any one of three modes: Conversation mode – for an open conference; Presentation mode – for larger conferences where only the organizers are allowed to speak; and Q&A mode – for a “question and answer” type of interactive mode. At any point, the conference modes can be toggled by the organizer.
Both InstantConference and InstantConference Enterprise services also come with moderator controls, dedicated conferencing numbers, and an easy-to-use online account management system. The solution supports up to 250 callers on every conference and offers conference activity and transaction summaries.
