Intuitive Voice Technology Releases Evolution PBX 3.0

Intuitive Voice (News - Alert) Technology (IVT) has released version 3.0 of its Evolution PBX software. Once again the 3.0 will be available in three versions: Basic, Professional, and Platinum. Evolution PBX uses a web based GUI to administer and provision the phone system and is one of the fastest growing Asterisk (News - Alert) based PBX distributions with over 1,500 installations in just the last 12 months.

The current release includes over 50 new features such as unified messaging, fax to e-mail integration, and call queues. Some highlights include Bluetooth Presence Detection, which detects when you are in and out of the office and dynamic call forwarding based on the permissions the user has set. The callback queuing feature called Fast Pass that allows users to drop out of a call queue, retain their place in line, and have the system call them back when they have reached the front of the queue.

According to IVT, Evolution PBX (News - Alert) Basic is a free version and is designed to work exclusively with IVT branded VoIP Services called IntuitiveVoIP.

The Evolution PBX offers state of the art IP Telephony features in a highly intuitive low maintenance PBX. With the Evolution PBX small businesses, entrepreneurs, and sales professionals can have a communications system that functions similar to the million-dollar PBX systems FORTUNE 500 companies use.

Evolution PBX platform enables VoIP service providers and telecom solution resellers to deliver highly advanced PBX features at an affordable cost to the business and enterprise customer, IVT said in a statement.

IVT says, the days of calling your telecommunications supplier to enable another extension on your PBX are gone. With Evolution you simply plug your phone into a standard network jack and let the system do the rest, it explained.
