Sosius Open Source Platform Gives Users Access to Online Apps

Sosius, an online collaboration firm, announced today that it now enables end users to access unlimited number of online applications and services from a single platform with new third-party services and an application platform called “OpenSosius Services.”
“OpenSosius Services connects data from Sosius with other applications and services across the Web. It extends the benefits of the Sosius platform to companies, developers and non-developers alike by allowing them to integrate applications and services directly into Sosius. The result is a complete, custom enterprise-grade solution for small and medium-scale businesses (SMBs),” company officials say.
OpenSosius Services bring a number of new services to Sosius users, according to the company. Some of them enable users to edit their documents online, sign contracts electronically, create 3D slide shows and conduct Web conferences, company officials say.

Zoho Writer enables online editing of user documents directly from a Sosius workspace, company officials say, while Zoho Spreadsheet does edits spreadsheets.
EchoSign is a new service by which users can send documents that need to be signed electronically.
The service PicLens is meant for users who want to create 3D slideshows using PicLens.
