Wireless Mundi and Sangoma Partner to Offer Business Process Improvement Solution

A partnership agreement has been reached between Wireless Mundi and Sangoma Technologies (News - Alert) Corporation, a provider of PC-based telephony products for proprietary and open source networking and telephony solutions.

The two companies plan to offer enterprises a unique and cost effective opportunity to incorporate a complete and integrated Information Technology solution in order to improve business processes.

Wireless Mundi focuses its efforts on the design and deployment of solutions for wireless and advanced networks, IP security, and Voice over IP (VoIP). The company plans to use the Sangoma PC-telephony cards in their COMMS MUNDI advanced Unified Communications solution and Multi-Service Business Gateway (News - Alert) (MSBG).

The solution will incorporate all areas of information technologies, such as VoIP, networking, IP security, integrated management and a full range of additional services in one integrated device.

With this interoperability, Wireless Mundi will be able to continue to cover an impressive assortment of applications and markets, ranging from rural ISPs, to SMBs, large enterprises and Telco’s world-wide.

"COMMS MUNDI is a powerful communication platform that offers an integrated solution of voice, data and web services," said Doug Vilim (News - Alert), Sangoma's VP of Sales, in a Thursday statement.

"The interoperability and compatibility between our products will allow for the development of solutions of high complexity, an important value add that our customers will appreciate."

COMMS MUNDI offers five technologies, including: Voice over IP (advanced VoIP PBX with videoconference capabilities), Networking (Router, VLAN, level 7 Traffic Shaping and multi interface Load Balancing, DNS), IP security and Unified Threat Management (Firewall, VPN, Certification Entity, Advanced Proxy, Antivirus, Antispam, IDS and captive portal plus authentication), a range of services (Web, Mail and File Servers, Virtual Machines, Databases, CRM, Call Center) and an Integrated Management System with a powerful monitoring service.

The scalable solution, when combined with Sangoma’s VoIP cards, is positioned as being flexible enough to meet the needs of both SMBs and large enterprises. The interoperability of the solution among the vast range of VoIP technologies allows for easy upgrades and homogeneous management when integrating voice and data.

"Sangoma provides the most reliable VoIP cards and we are proud to integrate their product line within our portfolio," said Enrique Cimadevila, Wireless Mundi's CEO, in Thursday’s statement.

"Through this partnership we look forward to expanding into new markets, facilitating complex VoIP deployments, and ultimately meeting the growing demands of our customers."

The demand for VoIP continues to grow as organizations are recognizing the benefits and the technology consistently improves in security and quality deliverables. Wireless Mundi and Sangoma have taken a strategic approach to not only target the growing SMB market, but to make their solution applicable to organizations of all sizes.

By catering to all enterprises with highly demanded technology, Wireless Mundi and Sangoma are sure to enjoy widespread adoption and strong market positioning over the long term.
